The Asia Pacific MA Human Rights and Democratisation (APMA) is a one-year interdisciplinary program that highlights the inseparable links between human rights, democracy, peace, and development in the Asia Pacific region.
The degree is offered by Mahidol University and jointly taught with Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines), Gadjah Mada Unviersity (Indonesia), Kathmandu School of Law (Nepal), and the Unviersity of Colombo (Sri Lanka). Students spend their first semester in Mahidol Unviersity and in one of the four partner universities for their second semester.
Applications for Academic Year 2022 will open on 03 January 2022. The deadline for scholarship applicants is 30 April 2022. Self-funded students can apply until 31 May 2022.
